Multi-Link Rear Suspension

A Multi-link is basically a suspension configuration that uses a series of links or rods that due to their geometric arrangement hold an axle or upright in place and create its swing pattern. Think of this as a front A-arm suspension mounted perpendicular to the chassis and instead of holding a spindle upright it is attached to your rear axle. Typically we think of these as 3 or 4 links. This setup allows for a large amount of wheel travel and a very precise feel.
